SANTA MONICA, Calif., June 23 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- American Eagle Outfitters (Nasdaq: AEOS) kicks off summer with a major bang on Saturday, June 24 as their Road Trip Party takes over the American Eagle store on Santa Monica's Third Street Promenade. AE's concert featuring the All-American Rejects will be an exclusive free event for one lucky grand prize sweepstakes winner as well as all AE customers.

All of the event's performances and activities will be available via LIVE webcast at ae.com on June 24 at 7 PM PDT/10 PM EDT. Following the show, fans can relive all of the fun and excitement from Santa Monica through downloadable clips of the concert's greatest moments.

"American Eagle loves bringing activities to its customers that represent their lifestyle-from the clothes they wear to the music they listen to and the celebrities they love," said Rachel DiCarlo, spokesperson for American Eagle Outfitters. "Our Road Trip Party with the All-American Rejects puts together all of these elements for a truly unforgettable event for those attending and AE customers everywhere to experience!"

Star of MTV's new hit show "The Hills," Lauren Conrad will team up with AE to bring this rockin' concert party to Santa Monica. A fan favorite on MTV since her days on "Laguna Beach," Lauren's new show has become an overnight sensation for the network and one of Hollywood's hottest young talents.

"Shopping with my family and friends at American Eagle Outfitters and hanging out with the All-American Rejects is my idea of the perfect summer day," said Lauren Conrad. "The Third Street Promenade in Santa Monica is definitely the place to be this Saturday in LA."

Among the throngs of screaming fans will be Allison Smith of Romeoville, Illinois. Smith was chosen from over 100,000 entries online at ae.com as the grand prize winner in American Eagle Outfitters Road Trip Party Sweepstakes. She will not only be front-row with 15 of her closest family and friends to see the All-American Rejects perform live, but will also meet the band beforehand for a private American Eagle Shopping Spree.

The All-American Rejects will rock the beach town with an electrifying performance for a crowd ranging from hot young stars to die-hard AE customers. Expect the multi-platinum band to perform all of its hits and fan favorites, including their current chart-topping single, "Move Along."

"What better way to kick off the summer than with a high-energy event that pairs the All-American Rejects, one of the hottest bands in music today, with American Eagle Outfitters, one of the hottest young retail brands in the market," said Brian McKinley, vice president of marketing for DMX MUSIC.
